SATURDAY started off with a bit of adrenaline down at Horsham skatepark for a skate competition.

SATURDAY started off with a bit of adrenaline down at Horsham skatepark where skaters from the district, Stawell and Ararat competed in a competition run in collaboration between Grampians Community Health and skating enthusiasts Benny Hallam, Dylan Bates and Jed Hermans.

Meanwhile, normal competition continued in the Horsham and Wimmera Mallee cricket leagues with Lubeck/Murtoa facing the Horsham Saints at Coughlin Park and Brim-Kellac Sheep Hills facing off against Birchip ahead of the club's 20 year treble premiership reunion.

Similarly, Warracknabeal played host to Antwerp for round nine of the Dimboola and District Tennis Association.
